ARCHITECT: FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT / TALIESIN ARCHITECTS (1997)

Monona Terrace is a community and convention center on Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin.
It is part of a lake front complex first conceived by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938.
However, because of a complex set of circumstances and budgetary problems, it was not completed until 1997
under a contract with the Frank Lloyd Foundation.
It's design theme is similar to several of his later works including the Marin County center in California.
The main entrance at street level is on a street axis with the state capitol building to the north.
